About Quality Building Inspections Inc.
Dave Yost has owned his own successful HVAC Company, installing and repairing residential and light commercial equipment. He also had a remodeling business, held an Electrical Contractors License, and was head of maintenance for a medium size company of 65 employees.
Dave has over 20 years of experience working in the Construction Field. He has an Associate's Degree in HVAC from Triton College, and has done apprenticeship training at Washburn Trade School.
For the past 14 years he has been a Union Pipefitter working on Commercial Heating and Air Conditioning Equipment along with Process Piping, installing and repairing equipment.
As a US Navy man, Dave spent 2 years active duty in Viet Nam on board a refueling and supply ship as a Machinist Mate. After active duty, Dave continued his Naval Service as a Reserve Deep Sea Salvage Diver for 18 years. In 1992, Dave retired as a Chief Machinist Mate and 2nd Class Diver. Some of his diving work can be seen on display at the Smithsonian Museum in the US transportation building in Washington DC.
Dave is a Founding Member of the Children's Hunger Fund Midwest Organization (CHF). CHF supplies food and hygiene products to Churches in the Midwest to help needy families make ends meet. In 2006, Dave was instrumental in organizing and helping open the doors to the first warehouse distribution center in the Midwest. He continues to give of his time to CHF, his chosen charity. Dave is on the Hunger Team Committee at his Church, training volunteers to help families in Du Page County.
Dave has been happily married to his wife Sonja for 36 years. He has 2 adult daughters, one son-in-law, one granddaughter and one grandson.ΔTop of Page
